Revolution? New Mexico protesters take over city hall

On May 5 anti-police brutality activists and community members in Albuquerque effectively shut down the City Council meeting and reconvened it as a People’s Meeting, a truly unprecedented event in the recent history of Albuquerque.

They demanded justice in recent police scandals going on there.

There have been weeks of mass demonstrations leading up to this.

There has been a huge cover-up about the shootings and the people have had enough.

The protesters will remain in control of the town hall until the mayor delivers justice.

The police haven’t made any arrests. This is starting to look like a revolution.
