Feds access people’s private information 1.2 million times a year

The federal government forces telecom companies to reveal private information on Canadians at least 1.2 million times a year, according to released documents. There’s a good chance this is done without a warrant.

99% of the time, the Canada Border Services Agency accesses people’s private data without a warrant.

These statistics are not counting all the spying the CSEC agency does and the various other agencies in Canada. The amount of spying going on in Canada is rediculous.
